I was expecting better. I had the cranberry chicken sandwich and I was underwhelmed - too much cranberry, not enough chicken. The tea was good and service and decor was very nice. I'm not sure I'll try it again.

I've had lunch there, and High Tea . had nothing but Good Experiences at the Tea House. very Great food ,good service and quaint ambiance!! will make it a regular tea time experience, since they serve many wonderful kinds of Tea !!!!!

My husband and I took very good friends from Richmond to lunch and all four of us were so impressed with the service, decor and wonderful presentation of food which incidentally was excellent. I plan on another visit November20th with two other very great people in my life. One from Mission and the other from Chilliwack. I will show them that we do have ambience in Abbotsford. First time I visited was Excellent (2007) - Huge salad with fresh vegetables, huge crutons - couldn't even finish it! Lovely atmosphere and nice china and teas. I have heard there are new owners now and have not been pleased with the cheaper grade food.

Pleasant enough atmosphere and service but my sister and I were not very pleased with the food. My sister had the chicken caesar salad and was quite disappointed to find small cubes of what tasted like frozen chicken, rather than the delicious sounding oven roasted chicken with a so so dressing and the tiniest cubes of obviously processed croutons, all served in a small bowl. For dessert she had the white chocolate scone...too flabby and sweet..more like a baking powder biscuit. I choose the muligitawny soup. It was bland and not even remotely like I was expecting. I choose the assorted dessert plate, out of 3 bite size bars the only one I liked was the lemon, it was as good, as the others were bad, very institutional taste. Food seems geared for the seniors taste buds, which accounted for all the other guests at the time we were there.

We have visited many times and are always pleased.

Such a quaint little tea house ... I absolutely love it! To sip your tea from fine china in a shabby chick atmosphere takes you away from the real world for a little while. The white chocolate strawberry scone is deliciously divine!
