I love this place. Ive been a customer there for 2 years and I went in on Berry Fest, and I was very impressed. Usually on a hectic day like that I wouldn't have eaten for an hour at most places, but my food was out in 20 minutes and the restaurant was packed. The new menu is superb, going to have to come back and try some new stuff. Will be back as usual!

This is one of our go to places. Casual with great food. An EXCELLENT breakfast. The location and decor may throw you off, but the food will have you coming back.

Not pointing any fingures, But I just wanted to point out that when looking at reviews regarding anything in the service industry, it's not hard to pick out the people who are naysayers and just looking for something to complain about. That said, Mitch Millers is a descent restaurant. The food is sometimes good, sometimes average, and occasionally very good. As for Mitch, I know him personally and he happens to be one of the hardest working people I know. I'm sure he knows what he is doing and he'll have no trouble with continuing the success that he's had.

I have been to Mitch Miller's many times. Always the food is excellent and the service is excellent. Sometimes the restaurant is so busy that you have to be patient and wait your turn to be seated or get service. It is totally worth the wait! Have you ever been to the Keg and waited to be seated? (Every time I have been there) As for the person who likes to slam small business owners, I wish you had the decency to let Mitch know your name and number if you have a beef. I'm sure he would like to hear from you himself. Do you have it in you to do that? Great food, large portions, reasonable price.

I don't know what the previous person was talking about, the food is not just edible it's phenominal. And as for the service staff being stoned I am sure that Mitch Miller would be aware of his staff being high as I have been told that he is there from open to close everyday. I have been going to MItch Miller's regularly for the past year and have gotten to know the restaurant and all the staff quite well. If the previous person was talking about who i think they are, she is way too bubbly to be stoned and might have caught her on an off day. To the person who wrote that comment, MITCH MILLER DOES KNOW WHAT HE IS DOING APPARENTLY YOU DON'T. AND are probably one of these people who have nothing better to do with their life but complain.

I've been going since it opened. I like to support small business. I haven't been in through the summer because of holidays. Now I go back and I don't think I will be back. The food has always been edible, not bad, but nothing to get excited about. Its food. Good presentation is what its got. I went for everything else, the cool art, the cool music, it always felt happy in there. I've been back twice since my holidays and it is not the same. The girl with all the dark hair looked stoned both times I was in. The atmosphere was changed. I won't be back and won't be suggesting this place to anyone. Mr. Miller doesn't know what he is doing

I was very dissatisfied with my last visit to Mitch Miller's last Friday. I had a French male as my server and had a complaint about the doneness of my Beef Dip. I like my meat well done and it was cooked medium. All I wanted was for it to be cooked a little bit longer. I was told that the meat comes like that and its good like that and he walked away. When he returned I wanted to speak to a manager. I was then told that there is no manager on until 5pm and that the other server was not a manager either. So with no one to resolve my problem I ate my soup and shared some of my friend's sandwich and packed up the beef dip so I could enjoy it at a later time cooked to my liking. The food was excellent and I will definatly be back maybe in the evening when I know if there is a problem there will be someone to talk to. I do hope that Mitch Miller himself reads there reviews, there are definatly some good constructive critisisms that he should address to better his business. #1 being making sure there is some sort of manager available for guests to speak to.

Awesome Restaurant!
Went in this weekend for lunch and had a wonderful time. The food was simple and great. I had a bacon and cheese burger with soup, the best burger I have had in a long time and the soup was amazing!
The girls there were very friendly and attentive, I will recommend this place to everyone I know.

we will not be back. yelled at by a girl from behind the bar. A different girl waited on us and it felt like she talked down to us the whole time. Then she spoke to the girl behind to bar very rudely. Really condescending tone. Then our food came. It was alright, but nothing to rave about. The beef dip was overcooked and tough to eat. We tryed to tell the waitress, but she never came back till we were done our meals. I didn't eat the beef just the fries. I told her about the beef. She offered to remake it but we were already finished and ready to go. I STILL HAD TO PAY FOR IT! the whole meal! Eventhough I didn't eat it! When I asked for it back and packed up she said it was in the garbage. So I paid for a meal that I didn't eat, didn't get to take home and got treated like a second class citizen by some young girl that is supposed to be in the SERVICE industry. just because my wife and I aren't 'regular' customers like the people at the next table obviously were doesn't mean we should have been ignored like that. Both girls on were rude and uncaring. We won't ever be back.

Retro tv shows is right. I haven't seen Happy Days in years. A beautiful blonde lady waited on us. She was friendly and attentive. I enjoyed my visit. Thank you Mitch Millers.

My boyfriend and I were at Mitch Miller's a couple of Fridays ago we had never been in and were treated like gold by our server! She was very attentive and friendly and the food was out of this world amazing! I have been in the service industry most of my life and was dumbfounded by the way that the bartender spoke to the other server.she spoke to her as if she was a child in a very condescending way.I felt sorry for the poor girl. We have been back since for breakfast and it was amazing as well! I can tell this place will be around for a long time as long as the quality and quantity of food and service remain the same.Good luck to the owners!

Good thing the Hollandaise is made from scratch and heavenly good or we would have walked out. I have never been so insulted as I was this past Sunday after being served by a petite brunette. Excellent breakfast, but next time, we will make sure we get service from the other girl.

I have been coming to this restaurant almost every weekend since they opened, the food is awesome and the waitresses are great. Their eggs benne is the best Ive ever tasted, and I drive from Maple Ridge to get there. I wish there were more places like this closer to home because I actively support small businesses.
I took the time to write this because I really love this place, when I read the some of the other comments I felt that it did not do justice to Mitch Miller and his staff, if any of the crew from Mitch Millers reads this you guys are awesome and I love your restaurant. Keep up the great job.

The weekend staff should take notes from the week day staff they could learn a few things. I've gone on several occasions, during both time slots. The week days are much more friendly, fun and inviting. The weekends are very different. I find it cold and stoic. I agree with the comment Lunch Is The Bomb It is, during the week. Keep it up Millers!

Since it's opening a couple years ago, I've frequented and supported the restaurant. The staff have always been charming and eager to please, and the food is satisfying and tasty. But, from my last experience, I most certainly won't be returning. I ordered a meal which I had ordered a couple times previously and enjoyed, but what I was given was nothing like what I had had before. To mince words, it was a bowl of spicy flavourless wet rice. When I politely sent it back to be fixed, the server was more than courteous and understanding. However, she returned a few minutes later and told me that the chef had tasted my meal, proclaimed nothing to be wrong with it, and refused to remove it from the bill. I didn't wish to consume the unpalatable meal, and was left to watch my friend finish her lunch. Ten minutes later, a dessert was brought out to maintain good faith, to quote the chef. Now, I fail to see how sending out an unwanted dessert, not even worth half the value of the meal, instead of comping the meal, in any way, shape, or form qualifies as an attempt to maintain good faith. I was still forced to pay for my meal even though I didn't eat it.
It must be said that I still maintain that the staff are what hold that restaurant together. Our server was apologetic and kind about the situation, and obviously deserves a better employer.

A Gem in the Heart of Old Abby! A sexy little spot to enjoy a Martini, hear old tunes from Eartha Kitt, Bing and what sounded like the Andrew Sisters while you watch the world go by. I recommend this place to everyone!

Go here if you want to hear the owner/chef yell at his employees and belittle them in front of you. What an alienating experience, though the food was good.

We were in for lunch on Halloween. It was Great! The staff was dressed up and made it so fun to be there. The friendliness of the staff was so welcoming. We felt instantly at home. The atmosphere of burgandy walls and warm wood blinds was comfortable. Mitch Millers had the perfect mix of old and new jazz playing. It was a nice change from the top 40 or rock n'roll that you usually find blaring through restaurant speakers. I can't wait to try this new fresh Jazz spot for dinner with my husband. The coconut curry bowl was so good and filling. I had to take some home. Keep it up Mitch Millers

You can tell that Mitch Miller has a passion for food and beautiful women. The food is outstanding and large portions at a great price. Try the Miller Bread's, cheese or sugar and spice, they are all great. My friend and I go there almost every Friday night and it's for more than just the good looking girl. Mitch Miller's is the best restaurant by far in Abbotsford, and I recommend it to everyone!

I've sampled some of the food and know many people who have gone to this restaurant. The owner is a very nice person and the food is great. They have some bread coated in sugar thats served with strawberries and whipped cream which everyone should get. Not too expensive and totally worth going to.

Went for dinner with our teenage daughters and everyone loved the decor, delicious food, generous portions, and creative plating. A great upgrade from our typical Red Robins/Boston Pizza outings.

The food is amazing & completely affordable! A great lunch idea... go in & order a cup of soup (wild mushroom is my favourite)... it comes with a warm baguette... it's delicious!

I'm a food critic for the North Vancouver area and I'm sorry to say the food here is not good. I think there are far better options in the Lower Mainland than this.

Food is excellent beyond compare. I would recommend this place to anyone & everyone!
