Dragon Fort is pretty standard canadian chinese food. Chicken balls that are more breading than chicken, but the flourescent red sweet and sour sauce makes up for it. The portions at Dragon Fort are HUGE, and you can get a lunch that most can't finish in one sitting for around 5 bucks. When you're in the mood for a chinese equivalent to a greasy spoon, this is your place.

Now that they are in a brand new location the resturant itself looks so much brighter and enables them to serve so many more people. the food has always been great and now it seems their portions have gotten larger!

the only complaint i have is the lack of staff. a busboy would be nice, and a dedicated host would be a plus. even if they just had a few more waitresses it would help.

my wife and i visited the friday after valentines and the first thing we noticed was the fact that there was no one to seat us. the amount of people that were waiting at the door was at least 20 to 25 people standing at the entrance blocking those who were coming and going. shortly after my wife and i came in there was a couple and then a family of 4. by the time my wife and i were seated there were close to 30 people standing around waiting either for a table or to pick up take out.

there were 2 waitresses that asked us how many our table would be for, but it took a third to actually try and seat us. this third waitress needs to learn that a table for 2 should actually only sit 2, especially when there were so many others waiting. she tried to put us at a table for 4 when there was a family of 4 behind us. i had to suggest that she put us at a table for just 2 people. then she went back and seated the couple that came in after us at the very table she had tried to put my wife and i at. the family of 4 waited a good 10 minutes after that because of the wasted table.

the other suggestion i would give is to put a place to the left of the entrance where those who ate in the resturant could pay for thier meals on the way out, that way they wouldnt be waiting so long to pay because of all the pickups waiting at the bar/cashier.

the resturant is definitely my favorite Chinese resturant, and i really enjoyed the new building, but they need to think through a few of the smaller details to make for a really excellent resturant. despite the rating button i chose to hit i would have to split my rating excellent food, very good resturant.

I work close by and this place is a lunch favorite! Excellent value, always hot and fresh. The new building is very nice too!

We had their food on December 16th. I was vomiting all night, my husband had stomache problems all day next day. That was a great disappointment after seeing crowds there every day. First and last experience!!

Great food, large quantities, good service, casual, everyday type of family place frequented by locals who enjoy the food and those who hear about the place because someone has enjoyed the food there been there several times though not from the area, and enjoyed it every time. Will go back!

You cannot beat the value, especially the lunch specials! Food is great. Actual restaurant is getting a little run down though. Wouldn't bring a date here...

This is the best Chinese food we've ever tasted. So fresh! Wonderful vegetarian dishes, too. Excellent service + good sized portions.
