I've loved going out to The Keg since I was a kid. It was a special treat a couple times a year to have the escargot, steak and lobster, and cheesecake. That was until I tried the Abbotsford Keg. The wait was long, the escargot was good but you can't really mess that up. Steaks were both ordered medium, but one came very rare. The reheated steak that came back out was the same one that we had cut into, and it didn't arrive for at least another 20-30 minutes. My date had finished the rest of her plate (which they left on the table) by the time the steak came back, and then she wasn't hungry anymore. The lobster tail was small and the butter sauce was so oversalted I think I had a heart palpitation when I swallowed my first bite. To their credit, the only charged us for one entree, but the meal itself was pretty poor. I would not return to this location unless I was offered a free meal, and even then I would express some doubt as to the quality of the food.

The worst keg I have even been in. I don't mind paying when it's good but I don't think I get my money's worth here in the Abbotsford Keg. Steaks are easy to do at home and that's all they have to offer.

Service is very good, but this place is the biggest joke in Abbotsford. The prices are ridiculous and you pretty much have to pay for every extra that normally comes with your meal any where else. I'd take ABC over this dump!

I don't know what all the hype about the keg is for. They are overpriced, and the food is really not that much better than anyone elses. They do have good service though, but as for everything else, what's the big deal?

This is one of the places that have always been great food and great place..this place is alway full
